Lovely stay at the cottage. Lots of local amenities within a short drive and the space itself was clean and lovely. I expected it to be a little cold with it being a cottage but it was lovely and cosy! Sophie was so helpful and quick to respond when messaging with some questions. Thank you! Thanks again ☺️☺️

We had a great family stay at the cottage, main bedroom was big enough for the fold out bed for little one. Was a lovely experience being near the sheep and was no disturbance to our sleep. Beds were comfortable and the fan came into good use. We ate at the ol dun cow and food was amazing and only 6 minutes away. We used the cottage as a base for Alton towers. Unfortunately was super busy the day we went and took an hour and half to get there whereas usually an half hour drive and even longer getting back. We made use of the local pizza delivery that evening who were fab. We would stay again and Sophie communicated back very quickly. Thankyou for our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed this cottage, so welcoming and cozy. We used it as base camp for 2 days at Alton Towers (a 30 minute drive away) with our 2 kids. We had dinner at the Horns Inn a short drive away as recommend by the host on our first night and the food was fantastic. The area is rural and peaceful, waking to the sound of sheep baa-ing is an experience not to be missed. We stayed when windy, cold and rainy outside but inside it was lovely and warm with ample heating, the water always hot too. For the eco-conscious it appeared the property is fuelled by an array of solar panels, battery storage and a heat pump. Easy to find, parking no problem, self check in was seamless. Clean and tidy, lovely and warm on arrival. We felt right at home in minutes. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in the area.
